This weekend is for you so you can choose to join in with as much or as little as is appropriate for you and appeals. This is not a yoga retreat, although an optional yoga class is on offer for those that would like to attend.
The invitation is to digital detox for the period of the retreat, giving ourselves a break from the distraction of devices. I would very much recommend people to come with an open heart and an open mind - everyone will get something from this!! It was like a holiday from real life but taught me so many things I will take back to that life!
As a huge introvert I can find groups of people quite overwhelming but this weekend offered so much time and space that I feel totally recharged. So much variety of activities.
I feel this was a huge contribution to my personal journey and has reinforced to me that this is the right journey for me.
ThankYou!!! Joe xx
I feel like 'me' again!
Fabulous to explore, relax and reflect (and just 'be') both inside myself and out.
What you have created here is so special.
Thank you, Laura J
Amazing.
You have made everyone feel so welcome Frances and everyone attending was lovely. It was great to get away from the rat race and have some time for me.
It was good to have a choice to dip in and out. For anyone considering going on retreat - don't be scared, people are friendly and all in the same boat, you will get a lot out of it!
Really glad I did it. I was rather scared beforehand but retreat has made me realise I am more capable that I thought. I want to ensure I carry on with what I learnt and a lot of what you have talked about has struck a cord.
Kathryn
Just brilliant, so totally brilliant.
Your retreat has opened my senses, enlivened my mind and body. It's given me the space to get relaxed, re-centred and revisit deep meditation practice.
Be bold, take a leap of faith and just go for it. Open your heart and mind.
Loved it x
Lisa
Amazing, every bit of it.
You filled every day with so much opportunity for stillness but also new experiences.
Anyone coming - to not have preconceived ideas. It unfolds as you want it to. There was so much to pick from to make it special.
The dyad session on the last morning opened the block I have felt recently. You have such a simple way of explaining things and a talent of tuning into people - Thank you! Amanda
I have really loved coming to the retreat and will take away more than I imagined. I have found a safe home inside my head that I have been scared to look at.
Approach it with an open heart - you will not be forced to do anything but can experience everything.
Just thank you so much! The amount of effort you have put in is obvious!
Julie
This is your retreat - a chance to step back, immerse into mindfulness practice in a way that feels right for where you are right now.
Our retreats are suitable for all levels of practitioner so we offer the chance to dive deeper during early or late sessions, but meet yourself where you are - if you prefer a lay-in or more time in your own practice then the invitation is to be kind to yourself. There is a lot on offer, but also plenty of space to take things at your own pace.

Gaunt's House is a very special place, a dedicated retreat centre set in the beautiful Dorset countryside. I feel very fortunate to have spent a lot of time here and love sharing this space with students.
